How does the pricing work?
The Camera
The camera is equipped with 4G enabled connectivity meaning all storage is remotely based in the cloud, so nobody can tamper with your data. Only you have access to this as the camera is designed to keep you safe and protected.
Aside from auto-generated alerts via crash detection sensors, the Cam iQ also comes fitted with an SOS panic button as standard; so, if you witness an event, simply hit the SOS and the footage will automatically upload to the cloud. You can also retrieve historic footage via the iOS/Android app.
The camera is able to record audio, but is set to OFF as default in accordance with Local Authority laws. The only time we provide footage with audio is in the event of panic button footage. The camera has a red light which comes on when audio is being recorded so you can have peace of mind knowing the device isn’t listening.
Within the iOS/Android app, you can also monitor your journeys and driving style, and the latter can potentially be used to negotiate cheaper insurance based on your style of driving.
